So far, so good. The sandstone grip is killer (super grippy). I agree with some others that with some shiny surfaces (e.g. granite smoothed with water) the grip gets slippery when wet. Still, I like them as my current hiking shoes. Haven't pushed the waterproofing limit yet but they have kept me warm in light rain when I've worn them.
