The toilet plungers are not flat. Drain pistons are flat. You will find it difficult to flood the toilet with a flat plunger. You'll have an even harder time submerging the toilet with this plunger if you don't pull out the inside first. I don't recommend using it for multiple items unless you use it in the toilet and it comes with a toilet brush, which is basically what it's designed for. But if you don't have a flat flask and are dying to clear the tub, put the inside back in and do it. Haven't had to use a plunger yet, but this looks like it will do the job if/when the time comes. Pulling out the inner part wasn't difficult - just press down on the top of the rounded part a little while pulling in on the lip. The toilet brush is very good! The bristles are nice and hard (but not too hard) and reach the toilet rim under the seat. The holder is cute; Plastic and fairly light, but it doesn't look like trash like some plastic stuff XDI puts between the toilet and the tub, with the plunger pointing towards the wall. it was packed in a huge box and was the only one inside (except for a small set of airbags which were less than half inflated and that wouldn't be enough to prevent a crash if they were inflated anyway). . It wasn't damaged, but it could definitely be because of that.
