Review on UCTRONICS 802 3Af Splitter Ethernet Raspberry by Stuart Rasmussen

Everything worked as advertised. it works with Revain cloud camera. ACC requires 5.2V. USB powered sources are typically 4.8-5.2V and the maximum voltage is typically listed. This product outputs 5V and works great with ACC. I had connections for IP cameras on the ceiling and was looking for ways to power the ACC over Ethernet; it worked without any problems. This requires a layer 2 switch with POE support, which I chose. But from the manual there is another device called Power Injector where it can power the ethernet cable. I haven't read anything about the POE standard, but it looks like it involves a handshake between the power supply and the consumer. There are connectors similar to this product; however, does not perform a handshake; therefore they are useless for my cases. This device provides a handshake and always asks for 5V, so make sure your device requires that voltage.
