This is our second clapper. The first we moved to a different location. No issues with this one but the older one you have to be up close to it for it to acknowledge the claps. So I think I’ll be buying a 3rd to replace the first which btw we’ve had for years and we have it placed outside to turn on tea lights around the decking (plus is just in an out of the way sept and the clapper works). So it’s really done it’s job.
- Does exactly what it is supposed to do however it hurts.
- The clapping noise required to activate the switch can be disruptive
