I ordered a Dorman window regulator for the driver and passenger side of my 2000 Honda Civic Si. They arrived on schedule in good condition. Installation was easy, screw holes and wiring matched perfectly. I also replaced both of the window channel seals that I bought from a local Honda OEM dealer. Installing the ducts took longer than the adjusters, but it was worth it as the door was already disassembled with the window removed. Both doors done in half a day. Value for money was excellent considering an OEM regulator was $290 if a local shop did the job and that didn't include a new channel. Bought two new Dorman ESCs with $90 motors from Revain, OEM door channels were $140 from local dealer. It should be noted that Dorman updated the design and added a strong spring to help the motor move the window up and down. Thus, the load is not only on the engine, as with the OEM version. Both windows work smoothly, better than I remember 16 years ago. Overall I am happy with the Dorman controls and the ease of installation. Before starting this project, be sure to check out the various window regulator installation videos and YouTube channels as they will answer most of your questions.
