Bought this as a gift but still had time to play with it. For anyone looking to go back to the old school or want to relive the old school games, this is for you. It has a small but decent selection of games, including several different Pac-Man games. Although the item contains some images, I always found it very small. boy was i wrong! This gaming device is quite large and not very comfortable to hold unless you place it on a small table or desk. Since it has right angles and edges, if you hold it after a while, it will start biting your hands. The included AV cable isn't too long, so prepare to be close to the TV if you don't have an AV extender. I think it's great that you can store AV cables in the device. Since this device contains old games, you get their traditional music and sound. Gameplay is simple and straightforward, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure out how to play these games. For controls, I would have liked a dedicated main menu button or reset button instead of having to press the A and B buttons together. Sometimes this combination doesn't work properly and I have to turn it off and on again. Batteries tend to work pretty well depending on how much you play. As it was a gift I can't speak for the other person but I suspect they didn't like it as I haven't heard of it or seen them play it otherwise.
