The seller was quick and the parts cost is low. Used to repair my DC25. The brush roller starts for a split second and then stops rotating. I've tried everything from cleaning the brush roll to checking the belt to cleaning the inside where the belt is. It was a reset switch that for about $8 part is easy to fix. Watch video on youtube. The biggest problem is the screws in the grip - Torx head, not hex or Phillips - and then removing the plastic casing without losing the spring(s) inside. The smaller spring that is on the knob side of the brushroll is the biggest problem as it pops out very easily. I replaced all 3 switches: reset and 2 "power".
