I work in a vet and we use a similar brand to this one. When my cat got an infection, I wanted to take her temperature at home. I bought it because it was a third of the price of what we use at work. I read the reviews and assumed some of the lower ratings were because people didn't know how to use it properly. Thermometer. is. abominable. It takes over 20 seconds to get a reading as your cat squirms and tries to run away. Forget actually trying to read the display. I gave up after 2 tries and immediately ordered the brand we use at work. It has no problem! I get readings in 2-5 seconds. Don't waste your money on this, it's not worth it.
