I am trying to train one of my cats who likes to go outside as much. While he doesn't like the harness, it doesn't seem to interfere with movement and the material is soft so it doesn't rub against him. That's only a short 10-15 minutes outside, but he can ride on a leash. But beware, when I was in front of Oliver and tried to lead him, Oliver could easily slip out, it would be better if I stayed behind him. He is a long and skinny 11 pound cat. I have a large size which gives him plenty of room but is very tight for my small and chubby 11 lb cat.
