It's very well made, but it's too big. I ordered a medium for my 8 lb cat based on the size chart. However, the chest area is very roomy and she fits her lower jaw underneath. The back is adjustable with Velcro to keep it secure. My cat has easily escaped twice. So it's not efficient.

I could use the medium but if it keeps growing I'm glad I ordered a larger size. Although it's a little big, it adjusts with velcro, it's very light and she hates wearing it. Getting dressed was a challenge at first, but now she understands what it means to go outside.

I bought several harnesses for my 13 lb cat. This one was definitely the best. I love it. It serves its purpose and is easy to move around in. He meows at the door when he wants out and I put it on him. I know it's crazy to tie up a cat, but I can't justify losing and getting killed by a car, bobcat, coyote, hawk, etc! It's just a safety measure and let him be outdoors with birds and squirrels; Leaves, running and wind - what he likes so much!
