I am very happy with this harness for many reasons. My cat is 15.5 pounds so it's difficult to find a cat harness that fits in all the right places. Most of the weight is on his belly, but he's still quite a large cat. We bought him a large one and it fits perfectly with enough slack so he doesn't have to worry about that. My recommendation, if your cat isn't trained on a harness and leash, is to let her become comfortable in the harness before using the rental harness and start indoors so you don't overload her. We tried dog harnesses but they were too big for him and most cat harnesses didn't fit him or were too expensive. I can only recommend this trailer!
