3 fuel lines connected together from carburetor to gas tank

I was able to connect 3 straight 5/16 fuel lines to these flare fittings. The straight fuel lines from the local auto parts store weren't long enough to get to the carburetor. to the tank, so I had to connect three fuel lines together.
