Review on Logitech LIGHTSYNC Wired Gaming Mouse by Sean Fabacher

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A suitable and affordable mouse for someone on a budget.

Despite some issues I've heard about with these mice, such as B. a bad sensor or click issues, I've been impressed so far and haven't had any issues other than the usual buggy software issues Logitech. . I also bought it for just under $20 and as it was in stock I had to wait about 3 weeks for this item to be delivered to my door. The packaging was damaged but this may have happened during the postal delivery process. I am currently using this mouse as a replacement for my G303 which I have had for almost four years with very few problems other than wear and tear. and maybe one day I will restore/modify it and use it as a backup. Until then, the G203 will be my go-to companion for all purposes until I find another alternative, possibly wireless. But then again, $15 was hard to give up, and I figured it would be a good idea to keep using it until I developed my "ultimate" mouse for all purposes, including work from home and gaming. One thing that really stands out to me is that this mouse is very similar to the G303 (and even the G302, G305) in that it has an "egg" shape that definitely suits my hand size and grip. For reference, my hand is 17 x 10 cm and the grip is somewhere between the fingertip and the claw. An unpopular opinion here, but I also like that the mouse cable is rubber rather than braided as my G303 wore out after only a few months of use. Likewise, the material on this mouse differs from that of the G303 and is unlikely to shine after heavy use. It also has decent skates/legs, but I'd definitely recommend something like a Hypereye as a replacement if you want more mouse pad glide. from its relative, the G203 Prodigy, as it has a lower quality sensor and some even report there is a double click problem. In a week of use, I haven't had any freezes or weird issues with games, and I don't think double-clicking happens. Also, the last two Logitech mice I've had haven't had any issues with clicks or sensors. As for the complaints, I can't say I'm a big fan of the DPI button and it can definitely be accidentally pressed. Another complaint is that the wheel is a bit more difficult to scroll than my G303, although the texture of the scroll wheel is nice. Finally, and not just for this mouse, the Logitech software, both current and old, is buggy and I want to change the settings without needing the software.
