A simple item that makes life much easier. For some reason kids (teens in my case) can't figure out if the dishes are dirty or clean. That's easy to say, because when it's clean, the inside of a dishwasher is immaculate, unlike when it's dirty. The final straw that got me finding something was when my daughter unloaded and put away the dishwasher full of dirty dishes. I wash my dishes really well before putting them in the dishwasher to see how clean she thinks she looks at them. I explained to my kids how it works and since then we haven't had any problems and I've never heard that mom is so clean.
