Review on Blue Expandable Nylon Cat Collar with Buckle - Catit by Melinda Raley

I bought this for my Balinese who has beautiful blue eyes but although it looks very pretty it is not safe. It doesn't stretch at all and there's no security if your cat gets stuck. My cat (indoor only) became stuck and was only able to pull itself out of the collar with its lower jaw in an attempt to free itself, resulting in a very frightened and injured cat with the collar clamped tightly in its mouth. In order to remove the collar I had to undo it, there was no other way, and it was incredibly difficult to do so unless it stretched an iota and was pulled by my poor cat's jaw. The only other option was to cut it. This collar lasted twenty minutes before it happened. I would not recommend this product if you have an outdoor cat. I wouldn't recommend it for house cats either. This is not a very good collar despite its cuteness.
