My cat has had this collar on for less than a week. Maybe 4 days? (2 of these ordered on October 7, 2021 and the incident occurred on October 12, 2021) The collar was completely torn as were all the other photos posted. The collar got so tight on my cat's neck it literally choked him to death and he couldn't BREATHE! It took two of us to hold the cat and forcefully cut off the collar! Very nice collar in light blue. I bought this for my white cat (she has blue eyes so she looks really cute on her) because she lost her breeze twice, that's over $10 down the drain. I bought this for my Balinese who has beautiful blue eyes but although it looks very pretty it is not safe. It doesn't stretch at all and there's no security if your cat gets stuck. The collar is nice and looks good but I have three complaints.1. Above all flexible. I bought this collar specifically for the extender feature. The elastic is actually a little loop of red elastic, like a hair tie - I was expecting a sewn-in elastic. I don't trust the loop as much as a well sewn liner, and it looks like the ends are glued inside - not necessarily even sewn.
