Review on ๐Ÿ‘‘ Maximize Protection with Pro-Tec's Unparalleled Headgear - The Bucky by Carl Estell

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Very minimal protection.

Bucky Lasek (translucent with red straps) is a fairly cheap/minimal design. I have previously worn other Pro-Tec models that have a foam barrier in addition to the padding. This helmet is a thin, just padded plastic shell. Good for riding flat but I wouldn't roll my kid in or ride anything over 3-4 with this helmet. In fact, inside it is specifically written that it does not meet protection standards and has minimal impact protection. The gasket came halfway out of the box so I had to re-tap it from the inside. Of course, Pro Tec offers more advanced and protected models. All that said, I needed something extremely minimal and this looks like a part. It just seems like I can get more bang for the buck for the same price.
