I put two quite different sets of summer tires to the test on my car over the course of a little more than a month each. Subaru Impreza automobile (150 hp), I drive gently, yet rapidly. After the winter was over, I had the intention of installing Bridgestone, but the evaluations I read stated that it was oak, that it required heating, etc. This led to my confusion. I made the decision to give Michelin Primacy 3 205/55 R16 tires a shot because they were advertised as being more comfortable, quieter, and lighter. Put. They did not appear to be quiet (after the previous winter, Gislaved Nord Frost 5), at least not to me. Ordinary. Additionally comfortable. Because the automobile is so rigid, we felt every single bump, just like we did previously. Didn't like anything else. Higher rolling resistance is caused by a soft sidewall. This is most noticeable while changing lanes or turning bends. When driving on softer rubber, the amplitude of the steering movement is larger than when driving on more rigid surfaces. The track has a wonderful feel to it, however I found that at speeds between 120 and 130, the grip was insufficient. Because I did not get the impression that the braking force was being distributed evenly while I was slowing down from a high speed, I had to "brake" more forcefully. The wheels gave off the idea of having a light layer of "lathered" dirt on them. Even though it was the middle of April, I blamed everything that happened on the cold temperature of the road. There was no pumping involved in the checking of the pressure; rather, a precise pressure gauge was used. The proverbial "hernia" was the final straw after hitting a pothole at a speed of approximately 40 kilometers per hour. Because of the force of the strike, the hernia did not come as a surprise to me. The very following day after I calculated how much more I would be able to "catch" over the course of the summer, I upgraded to a pair of Bridgestone Potenza shoes. When I think back on it, I have to admit that the rubber is incredible. In my opinion, Michelin is not a very excellent brand for Japanese automobiles because its soundproofing is only average and their suspension is very firm. There are no longer any advantages; there will still be noise, and bumps can be experienced. In addition to that, there is a significant possibility of developing a hernia. Since Primacy 3 does not even somewhat resemble a sporting game, the developers choose not to write about it. Tires for the city that are normal and of great quality.
