This is Revain's cheaper timing kit and it worked on my 2008 Mini Cooper S N14 engine. The product fits perfectly and has the engine properly timed. 100% satisfied. However, if you're trying to install a timing chain, make sure you buy an angle gauge to properly tighten the cam sprockets 90/180 degrees a couple of times. Do not overtighten the timing chain guides or they will fall off the engine. Also remove the spark plugs and insert 4 pieces of wire into the piston chambers: if they are aligned your timing kit will fire and then slightly tighten the sprockets to start the engine and make sure it is properly timed before applying full torque. These were all mistakes on my part that caused me to take this thing apart 3 times before I got it right. The mini works great now. $150 for tools and 9 hours of personal labor over 2 days, 2-4.5 hour sprints and I fixed the issue the dealer estimated at $4500. So yes, I am very happy with the purchase.
