Controls Samsung Smart TV back button!

The remote didn't look great but it did the job and was fairly easy to set up. The codes provided on the website for my Samsung Smart TV and Bose Solo sound system worked on the first try. You can control the back button on Samsung TVs if you program the remote, try the buttons below, one of them will work as a back button. In my case, the square button turned out to be the back button. Pros: Ability to program macros to turn on multiple things with one button. I am currently using this to turn on the soundbar and TV with the power button. Easy to program, just follow the instructions that show you the order of button presses to activate the different programming modes. You can reassign any button on the remote control to a different button. on the remote control. (ie volume can increase or decrease channels if you wish) - You can program buttons from other IR remotes. (tried and it works to control my Dyson tower fan) Cons: - I also have another remote control (Logitech 915-000159 Harmony 650 Infrared All-in-One Remote, Universal Remote, Programmable Remote Control (Silver)) for my TV bought below and this one looks much better and is easier to program via USB. I bought it hoping I could program the back button on it with my Samsung TV remote as the other universal remote I had didn't have such a button. This resulted in me being able to fully return to the home screen only when watching Hulu or Youtube. Verdict: If you don't mind the looks and old-fashioned programming capabilities of this remote, then this is a great buy. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because for the slight difference in price, I felt the Logitech remote was easier to program via the app. The programmable LCD screen is also a nice feature. I will say that this remote did what I hoped it did, although it failed to learn the back button from the Samsung remote. I found a very useful trick. I tried every button on the Inteset remote and found that one of the buttons on the bottom turns the TV back on. After figuring that out, I simply reprogrammed the back button on the remote to switch functions with the square button below.
