NON-FUNCTIONAL for luggage and travel gear
Don't rely on the leash! The thing fell apart in many places! I used this to hold my 3 year old next to me in a busy airport. It broke again and again for me, first the hand strap, then the place where it is attached to the backpack. I ended up tying the leash to the straps of my backpack out of desperation so my little one could join in the surprise! They are broken! This thing was literally at the seams! Luckily, TSA helped me repack my baby after she was ahead of me in the crowd! Don't buy this if you will be using a leash! (By the way, this is probably my first one-star review, so I'm not one of those overly critical reviewers. It's actually a dangerous product.)
