I was able to install them just by finding them. There are 4 legs that are pressed against the wall. I think the problem people have is that they don't fix naturally. You'll need to use a screwdriver or something to pry the leg up once it's extended. The problem I had was that they had some weird overlays. As a result, it was difficult to get the screwdriver to hook into the notch, which is presumably intended for someone to press on. I haven't read the instructions so I know how to install it. What I didn't like so much were the included cable ties. One of my wires didn't fit properly so I had to remove the case and redo the wiring. Once attached to the ceiling, it is difficult to detach the legs. I used pliers to pull down the legs to unlock them. It wasn't easy with all the padding on the legs, but I managed it.
