The product works well The seller is not responsible, but those crazy little black mounting clips are sometimes difficult to use. Surprisingly, no one has come up with an easier way to attach an object to the ceiling. But the item works as described at the end.

Good recessed lights

Installed in my kitchen. Good lights with concealed installation. Remember, you can install them like Christmas lights, with one bulb connected to another to limit the number of wires in the attic. These ceiling lights accept an A19 bulb with no protrusions.

Great product read my clips review

I bought two 4 inch cases from Amazon because they were cheaper than big stores. I've read a few complaints about the crappy design of the clips, but I blame the users/installers Lack of skill The clips have a notch that allows you to push in a flathead screwdriver and latch the case. It does require a bit of muscle power and I could understand why some people would have an issue as these cases are made from breathable material and are designed to work in wet conditions the notch on the clips…

Easier to install than the reviews sounds like this:

I was able to install them just by finding them. There are 4 legs that are pressed against the wall. I think the problem people have is that they don't fix naturally. You'll need to use a screwdriver or something to pry the leg up once it's extended. The problem I had was that they had some weird overlays. As a result, it was difficult to get the screwdriver to hook into the notch, which is presumably intended for someone to press on. I haven't read the instructions so I know how to install it.

I installed 18 NBD units but the last batch of 4 had spring clamp issues. Better buy these!

I wanted to edit my first, somewhat blunt, review of the last 4 Halo orders I've received. Yes I returned this particular order of 4 cans but I installed the same new cans and the spring clips worked fine so the problems I had were an accident. I have installed over 18+4 of these 4 inch retro style jars in my home and love the dramatic lighting in my hallways and bathrooms and love the 5 inch jars in my kitchen.
