Review on Nokian Tires Nordman 7 185/65 R15 92T winter by Micha Szymaski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Practical product, nothing to complain about.

In the past, he had experience in operating such tires as Gislaved Nord Frost 3, Goodyear Ultra Grip 500, Bridgestone 17 and Ice Cruiser 5000, Continental Winter Viking1, Nokian Hakka2 and Hakka4, Nordman + and Nordman 4, Yokogamma 700 and AI G 35. And also Toyota. Now I operate Dunlop sp2 and Hankook PC419 on different machines. Nordman7 operating experience 1500 km. First impressions. Average noise. Quieter than Dunlop and bridge 5000. Noise inherent in all Nokias. The tire is not quiet, but not overly noisy either. On the pavement keeps average. On snow and ice, it is definitely better than nordman4, all yokogam and breeches and toyo. Definitely worse than Hakki4 and Continental. I doubt about Hakku2 and Nordman +. In terms of properties, not the best tire, but far from the worst. Worth your money. Quite predictable behavior on slippery surfaces. A small departure of the spike - it upsets. Could work better. There is one nuance. Demolition of the front axle when cornering on asphalt. Dunlop showed himself better here. By the totality of all properties, taking into account the price 4-. 5 I can only put kontik - excellent and durable rubber, and khakke, but it is inferior to kontik in terms of durability.

Pros
  • Price. Doesn't harden in the cold. Original spike from nokian. On the Nordman of previous generations, the studding was local, so the quality of the stud and its reliability were very different. Does not tan in frost
Cons
  • Medium grip on dry and wet pavement. Dislikes warm weather.
