1. Pillows will be compressed for shipping. Each pack contains 2 pieces, two packs per carton. 2. You need to fluff them up and then let them expand for 48 hours. 3. Because they are shredded memory foam, they are lumpy instead of smooth. These are decorative pillows for your sofa etc. NOT pillows for the bed. They are designed to be upholstered with heavier cover fabrics and pads. If they're covered in the right fabric, you won't see torn foam. I bought the Spoonflower denim and it looks amazing. I will post pictures when I finish my sewing project. However, I am very happy with it. They have a double cotton cover with zips for easy washing and you can pull out the foam if you want it less tight. I gave one star less because I also need 20x20 and they are not that size.
