Pretty, soft, stronger than you might think given the size - it's just thicker in the photo than it looks in real life. It really is almost the weight of DK. It's thinner than Bernat Velvet and Baby Velvet (as shown in the picture above, Yellow is the product, White is Bernat Baby Velvet and Silver is Bernat Velvet) - even from the pictures you might think it's the same as Baby Velvet, but it is is actually closer to Lion Brand Naptime (purple streak in alternate image). However, I have no problems with the yarn itself and, based on first impressions, I find it to be of excellent quality. I'm just glad I didn't buy it for a specific project - the yarn keeper in me just knew I HAD to own this AMAZING YARN! And I'm glad I bought it (it took so long to get here)
