Who knew basic tools could be improved like this?

Haven't bought a chalk line in 20 years. My old one broke and I was tired of twisting it with a bent nail. The gear train in the crank makes threading the string very easy. The handle does not interfere with the unfolding of the line. And simple things like a metal leg with a cut out so you can see your mark. All this greatly improves the carpenter's work.
