Misleading - SoftTouch protective mats.

Warning. Although labeled "Soft Touch," these safety mats are made from 1-inch hard plastic spikes. They look like they could do more damage to carpet than furniture. The product is also listed as "custom" which is not possible. There are 2 4" x 4" carpet protectors that break into (4) 2" squares. These are all custom sizes you receive. Rather than returning them, I decided to keep them until I go to winter in the winter Sierras walked. I can attach these very tough 1" cleats to the soles of my boots when walking in icy areas. Or better yet, when I'm climbing the frigid and treacherous Mount Everest next year.
