I read other reviews and thought maybe they or something had a lot of marriage so I got the one I got at over 450 for 2 hours Baked degrees Fahrenheit just to see if the coating has peeled off or if it melted or brought hellfire out of my oven. Nothing. Was undeterred. After cooling and wiping, it looked the same as it came out of the box. So I cooked a 26-pound Thanksgiving turkey with him. Ideal. And, as advertised, I was able to lug everything out of the fryer and straight onto our decorated cutting board (NO problem lifting the whole awkward drip tray out of my oven first!). Then I pulled out a long needle and of course removed both sides of the frame one at a time and there the bird sat surrounded by the insert on a beautiful platter as if it had been born there. I don't see why I wouldn't happily use this shelf for years.
