The device arrived slightly damaged due to insufficient transport protection. But it's still usable and seems to be working. Apparently the manufacturer supplies them in quite large quantities, so the rickety box in which the thermometer is located is completely sufficient. But my device was shipped in a standard plastic sleeve that did not protect against kinking or crushing. My device arrived slightly bent and has a small crack in the glass cover. The thermometer is a little slow to respond to temperature changes. This is most likely due to the amount of metal in the sensitive part. But it should work for its intended purpose.
