Update: Dalstrong customer service contacted me quickly after learning of my problems with the knife and sent me a replacement very quickly! They really care about their customers and product quality. The new knife is instantly sharp and has no problem getting a grip on water. This time they succeeded. Reliable customer service and reliable product. 10/10 Dalstrong you had my support even with a knife I was having trouble with but now you have locked me up forever. Thanks very much! Original rating: 2 stars. I love Dalstrong and have several of their knives. However, this is my least favorite. Pros: - Very nice, definitely a knife to show off - Great grip on the handle, best of all Dalstrongs - Blade is smooth and easy to clean Cons: - Not very sharp e.g. B. it has problems with tomatoes and onions. Requires immediate sharpening on a bar - water can enter the knife at the junction of the blade and handle. This is a big no and it will lead to bacterial growth. A serious design flaw that I can't close my eyes to. I will no longer buy knives from this series because of the water that can get into the knife. It rusts very quickly and becomes infected with bacteria. The design needs improvement. I can't use this in a professional kitchen with the certainty that it won't infect anyone.
