Great needles for the job!
I bought these needles to finish my custom bed border on my Singer 3223r because the (precision needle point) that came with the machine broke halfway through. I'm pretty sure one of them broke from over-handling the material while sewing because when I got the replacement it was easy to install and finish! This can work with thicker material as well, just be careful and pay attention to what you are going through and how aggressive you are with the machine and your material to avoid my mistakes.
