This versatile laminator is ideal for home use as it accommodates pouches up to 13 inches wide. The kit includes 20 pockets, the largest of which measures 13 x 16.5 inches, as well as a trimmer and corner cutter. I can't imagine having to laminate something as big as the largest pack, but it's worth the money. The laminator is easy to use, just turn it on. Warm-up time 3-5 minutes. The green light comes on, then gently and straightly move the bag until the rollers grab the laminate and pull it through. If something goes wrong, there is a release lever that you can use to gently pull out the laminate to avoid possible damage to the document. It took 1 minute to feed the 11 inch laminate. Make sure there is nothing on the exit side as the hot laminate is still soft and may bend if it hits something. I recommend you bring the laminate with you right away and place it on a flat surface weighted with a book to allow the laminate to cool evenly. It comes out at an angle, and if you let it cool like that, it can bend. The body of the case is made of hard, brittle plastic, so care must be taken not to drop it on a hard surface. It has a minimal footprint and is lightweight, making it easy to clean. The top gets quite hot, but not hot enough to burn you if you accidentally touch it. I haven't had this product long so I can't guarantee durability. My test laminates were perfect, bubble free, strong, smooth and didn't warp.
