Review on 🔪 Master 10-Inch 100T Carbide Tooth TCG Saw Blade for Cutting Aluminum with 5/8-Inch Arbor by Kevin Harmon

I was very skeptical about this blade because I've always been taught you can't cut metal with a power tool designed for wood. However, I had to cut a piece of 6061-T6511 aluminum 8" wide and 1/2" thick. Without a chop saw or bandsaw, I had no intention of cutting it with a hacksaw or angle grinder. Thought it might be worth a try for $20. I put it in my slide miter saw and using the adjustable depth gauge, cut a set of approx. The passages are 1/8" deep just to be conservative. Wow! It cuts easily - no sticking, no burning, just lots of little chips, flying out the back of the saw. The result is a really clean cut. I'm really surprised at how well this blade works. I should have tried this a long time ago, it would have saved so much time on previous projects.
