I was pleasantly surprised at how good these oil pastels are. I use very expensive Sennelier oil pastels which are of course fantastic quality. I didn't want to buy my kids anything expensive, but at the same time I wanted an oil pastel that blended well. I bought Camlin and also Faber Castell but didn't like them at all. Camlin was much better than Faber Castell. So I bought these and mine! Bright, blends in beautifully, very easy to use. I tried them on jagged gray (textured) paper and the results were excellent. Since then I've gifted a set to each of my art students. Love it.
