This is a good little heater. I ordered it in bronze and have been using it for about 2 weeks. It generates enough heat to heat our 8x12 three season porch. I doubt it has enough power to heat a room larger than a few hundred square feet. The flame effect is a bit more realistic, better than most other units I've looked at. It has two heating modes: high and low. Unfortunately, a built-in thermostat is not usually found on devices of this type. Although most of the heater is made of plastic, the quality, fit and finish are very good. I had no trouble attaching the legs. Update: It is highly recommended to replace two 40W incandescent bulbs with equivalent 60W LED bulbs. Brighter flame and less energy consumption!
