This is a very elegant mixing glass that is sure to impress when given as a gift. It has a heavy base so you don't really have to hold the glass while mixing. The glass looks great, no seams or bubbles. It works great with a standard Hawthorne strainer and also works great with my Mint Julep 3" wide strainer.
