Review on Schwinn Boys Knee Elbow Gloves by Adam Ross

Good starter set for toddlers, protects against scratches and small bumps

My twins are still too young but I bought 2 sets after buying the girl version for my 2 year old daughter. Since I compared them and the difference is only in the color, I thought that an evaluation could be useful here as well. The set is really small, but all the details suit her perfectly. I've uploaded a picture of her in it on the girl sets page if it helps to see her on someone short. I looked around my house for a size reference and the best I could come up with was a Coke can - the washers fitted the can pretty snugly and were just a touch bigger than them. As far as protection goes, it should just offer good protection from scratches and minor bumps. It doesn't absorb much of the fall but provides a pretty good buffer between the knees and the concrete. Considering my daughter rides a supervised small skateboard on the sidewalks and probably won't pick up much speed at all, this should protect her very well. Any fall of increased force or speed and I don't see them really protecting them as there is nothing in them to actually absorb the impact.
