Excellent protection during sports

Great for a variety of activities and perfect for my 2 and 6 year olds. They use them on their bike, scooter and ice skates. Gloves are good because they are made of thick material on the palm. There have been a few drops since we had them and they were well protected.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Almost never

not suitable for child protective gear

Plastic pieces cut into my son's arms and legs. Smaller than most four-year-olds, they are tiny, barely fitting around the legs and leaving red marks. Used once and no more. I think they are great for under 2 year olds or very skinny 4 and 5 year olds. I don't recommend them.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • So far so good

Velcro is too short. Good design. Works well.

The knee pads are a bit short. My son is by no means a fat kid and they were completely stretched out and he still couldn't wrap them around his legs without cutting off circulation. I had to see the velcro to lengthen them. Other than that they work great and my son loves their design.

They work but the quality is not very good

My tall, lean two year old fills them in. I was hoping for a little better quality. We use them for skateboarding. He hit the pavement with his knee and immediately tore the material. Worth $10 - as opposed to leather off the knee and embedded stones. I'm just disappointed they tore so badly on the first fall. I have a feeling we'll need something sturdier when we go back to buying pads in the spring. And even more, this one

  • Handy item
Cons
  • Slightly torn

It's nothing my husband and I can't use.

MAKE IT BIGGER! They are very cute and we really wanted them to match. Of course they are cheap. but my 3 year old is skinny (not skin and bones but certainly not beefy). And he had extra flesh sticking out of his knee pads and the velcro wouldn't close. Gloves and elbow pads were also not checked. Will return. I'm not sure how so many people have been able to customize them. My husband doesn't like it and I don't know how to use it. Spring.

Pros
  • Outstanding overall performance
Cons
  • Low maintainability

Good quality. Small gloves.

Seems to be well made although I haven't seen the pads tested. My son has only ever fallen on his butt while skiing. They seem comfortable to wear because my son has never complained. Even after he's done riding, I usually have to remind him to take off his gear. Deducted one star because the gloves feel too small compared to the overlays. When he was 3 years old, the gloves barely fit him. Now he's closer to 4 and weighs about 38 kilos, the gloves don't fit anymore. The pads still fit him very

Great purchase for my 4 year old.

I bought these for my 4 year old and it was a great purchase! He loves his first "skates" and it was a fantastic idea to buy them as he falls quite often. He loves gloves, loves wearing them as extra gloves. I need to buy him a pair of thin fingerless gloves so he can stop wearing them outside (before he loses one!) ha ha ha. Gloves, knee pads and elbow pads are perfect for him. I don't think gloves will fit him in a few years, but I'm sure knee pads and elbow pads will fit. The quality is very

Good starter set for toddlers, protects against scratches and small bumps

My twins are still too young but I bought 2 sets after buying the girl version for my 2 year old daughter. Since I compared them and the difference is only in the color, I thought that an evaluation could be useful here as well. The set is really small, but all the details suit her perfectly. I've uploaded a picture of her in it on the girl sets page if it helps to see her on someone short. I looked around my house for a size reference and the best I could come up with was a Coke can - the…
