Review on ๐Ÿ’ช GUM-889DD Professional Clean Flossers: Extra Strong Flosser Pick with Fresh Mint - 150 Count by Jose Gerber

The latest design is worse than the previous one

A few years ago the plastic handle was more rigid and the floss didn't fray. Sometime in 2018 they were redesigned with a thinner plastic handle (translucent with glitter as shown in the product photo now in 2020) and weaker thread. If your teeth are touching, chances are that floss will wear out as you use these attachments. Today, except for the pickaxe, a piece of plastic thread in the mouth came loose. The dental floss never breaks completely, but always after the first tooth. The earlier design of these floss heads used synthetic floss that did not wear out. Also, the sharp part of the pick is now useless as the plastic grip is weaker. With the old hard handles, I could use a toothpick to scrape the plaque off the sides of my teeth and from the crevices between them. Now the plastic is so brittle that the plaque won't scrape off if I try to do that. These are thin. I think I have a few hundred left over after buying a six pack and I plan to get a more reliable piece of floss next time instead of 500 little pieces of junk.
