If possible, use an optical cable for the connection. It doesn't look like it will connect. Just pay attention to the shape when trying to insert it into the vessels. Use a flashlight so you can really see the shape. The instructions don't mention which remote to use to set up PCM on your TV. If you're into satellite service like me, that's dial-up. Not the remote that came with the TV. Once I figured that out, the soundbar was perfect. This accomplished my goal of bypassing the TV's broken speakers. But now I have 4 remote controls: Apple TV, satellite TV, TV remote control and soundbar. This is the only downside. Those of you who are familiar with electronics can find a way to solve this problem. But I'm just glad that this 75-year-old woman succeeded. And if I can do it, so can you. Great soundbar for the money.
