Review on Stainless Steel Oggi Kitchen Timer by Joy Janes

Cool little analog timer with a fairly quiet "classic alarm clock" sound when the time is up. Adequate volume for most people, but only if you're in the same room as the timer. Unless you live in a studio apartment, you probably won't hear it throughout the house. On the front we have a shielded logo and it's not very well placed. but it's hardly noticeable. TIP #1: In order for this timer to work and ring properly, it must be set for 60 minutes (marking 0 after 55) and THEN set back to the desired time. (Some reviewers don't seem to get this.) TIP #2: The stem on ours wasn't permanently attached, so put a drop of clear silicone sealant in the hole and reinstall the stem. (So you don't lose it.)
