The material is so light and soft. This was purchased for a trip to Jamaica for a 70 year old woman. For the purpose of ease in changing clothing from swimsuit to something to eat lunch in. She couldn't be happier. They have pockets and she loves being to have her hotel key on her. This was a win. Plus you can dress it up or down depending on shoes etc.
