Great for our office

I'm a content author and have been writing air purifier buying guides for a month and a half. This is how I learned more about the difference between HEPA, Activated Carbon, UV, PCO/PECO and Ionic Filter air purifiers than I ever wanted. And that's why I ordered a couple of air purifiers for our house for the main rooms where we spend most of our time. This particular air purifier features HEPA and activated carbon, as well as an ionizer mode. HEPA is great for dust, smoke, pollen, and mold spores, while activated carbon is best for odors and VOCs. Ionizers can help with pathogens, but only as long as ionization mode is turned on. It's a smaller air purifier so I thought it would be best for our home office which is a small space with a high VOC level due to all the electronics we keep there. I like that it fluctuates too and that you can turn off the ionizer (ozone can be a by-product of ionizers running too long). It's easy to set up, you have 3 fan speeds and three timer modes. I left it on the lowest speed with no timer as they work best for you if you leave them on indefinitely. This fan is easy to install and is fairly quiet on the lowest fan setting. Unfortunately, there's no sleep mode, so that's the only downside if you plan to use it in the bedroom. The CADR score is decent even for smaller rooms.

Pros
  • HEPA air purifier
Cons
  • Minor issues
