This is a great tape for waterproofing electrical connections.I recently upgraded the taillight bulbs on my SUV to LEDs. The LED bulbs' adapters plugged into the factory receptacles. Heat shrink was supplied, but it only shrunk enough to seal the connector end and not the wires going into it. Using this tape, I quickly weather sealed the entire assemblies. As an extra, the silicone tape also adds some shock absorbance to the hanging harnesses.With the self-fusing nature of this tape, I consider it to be a permanent solution to my issue until I cut it off.A high quality tape that provides a waterproof solution to many projects.
