Review on Kicker 46KISLOC2 Stereo Line Output Converter by Ben Demers

So I was a bit hesitant to order this after reading a few bad or low reviews and most people having trouble understanding the wiring. Gray wire - to the left speaker (the striped wire is used as a minus) Black wire with a white stripe and white - to the right speaker (again, the striped wire is negative) Blue wire - remote control wire. Connect this to the "remote" terminal on your amp, the black wire is your ground. I ground mine to the ground clip I used to ground the amp itself. I don't have any hum or whistling from my speakers. The amplifier and converter display will turn off after about a minute. It turns my amp on when I open the trunk and the light comes on but goes off a minute after closing the lid and doesn't drain the battery overnight, no problem. I couldn't find any step-by-step instructions from customers. so i hope this helps
