Mild increase in performance with sexy engine rumble.
Installed on Mazda 3 2.5L 2018 Car Hatchback. It took me about 20 minutes to install. The filter part appears to be very separate from most of the engine. Now I really like the sound of the engine. The car feels a little more responsive. I have qualitative data to support this. This is just based on the "instead of my pants" assessment. There are no noticeable changes in fuel consumption. In fact, my mileage may have gotten worse because now I tend to accelerate harder just to hear that nice engine growl. Very happy with this purchase.
