I listen to audio books a lot, especially at night. I have horrible, oddly shaped ears that the headphones just barely fit in. I tried over 10 ear tips that should fit small ears and none of them worked. I have a small ear canal and a small pinna. But they fit and don't hurt my ears! The sound quality is good, you can use both or individually. I fall asleep with them in my ears and can wake up the next day with no pain. The only thing I see is someone complaining about them not fitting snugly. If you shake your head vigorously, they may fall out. But most importantly, they are comfortable for people with small ears.
