This fleece jumper is one of those essential items in a boy's or girl's wardrobe. This is the one to take if you think the weather might turn chilly. The zipper doesn't run the length of the fleece, only about 6 inches or so. The fleece is quite soft. The instructions say to machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle and do not tumble dry. I washed it about a week ago and I'm pretty sure I misread the instructions and put it in the dryer on low and it came out fine. I don't remember it being just air dried. In any case, I'll be following the instructions from now on just in case. If you're just looking for a basic fleece to keep you warm, this is a great choice.
