I like this umbrella the most. Nice smooth and comfortable handle and it opens fully, although the first time I tried to press the open/close button on the handle all the ribs came up a little short which was alarming. After that, several attempts were successful (test four times). Automatic closing by pressing the same button on the handle quickly closes the lantern and releases the shaft extension mechanism. It is up to the operator to fully fold the stock down to its resting length. This requires considerable strength. Not all women will find it feasible (my wife); others (my adult daughter) won't have much of a problem. By the way, it looks good and protects against rain and sun, like an umbrella!
